PACHES | Oil on panel.
After moving to California almost a year ago, I am very excited to be part of the Bay Area Classical Artistst Atelier, BACAA, and I will be offering evening classes starting on February 2020 on still life oil painting. Those classes are both for beginners and advanced painters. We will be talking about every tool that the visual language has to offer, and we will use those tools hands on. The sessions will have life demos and personalized exercises and critiques.
I hope to see you there!

I will be teaching two weekends workshop in Canada this next March. During the workshop we will be working with life model, and we will work on traditional portraiture in oil paint. To do so, we will talk about how to understand what we see and how to capture the essentials. Back in 2012 when I finished my Fine Arts Degree I went to a trip around Ontario, Canada. It was my first time traveling alone for so long, nearly three months, but I was excited to do it. My main purpose was to meet people, have time for myself and learn new things, I really didn’t have that much planned ahead. I volunteered around, I met wonderful people but the highlight of my travel was to end up helping around in Bon Eco Design. Bon Eco was nothing like I’ve even seen before, a small design studio run with love and respect for the world. I ended up feeling part of the family. Almost six years later, we will gather together again to organize this workshop I am proud to teach. This will be the perfect place for advanced painters to explore new methods and for beginners to discover how captivating portrait painting can be. Come experience one of my paint workshops in small town Ontario between Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.

I am glad to announce that some of my latest work will be displayed in the artistic series Lúcid, organized by Mar Serinyà from the Museu de la Mediterrània together with La Sala. My last project Transparent will be sharing the space with the literary work of Xavier Serrahima on an exhibition that will be a presentation of both artists with a poetic bond lead by Rosa Pou. I am proud to be part of that ambiguous project because it gave some new space in my work process. Don’t miss the inauguration on the 3rd of december at 12h!

SUMMER WORKSHOP IN COSTA BRAVA!
The first post on the news section will be dedicated to a very interesting project that I have the pleasure to collaborate with: PAINTING RETREATS EUROPE.
This is a perfect occasion for beginners and also more advanced painters who want to refine their skills or just be in the perfect location for practicing and having a wonderful time painting. The Costa Brava landscape has much more to offer than just stunning sea-views: magical sunsets and lovely medieval towns are just some of the jewels that we have in this region. Painting Retreats Europe offers personal teaching, outstanding accommodation and a full and enjoyable painting experience. Courses will be taught by the artist Joseph Altwer.
